Contact Me Welcome to Golden Retrievers of Redbud Hollow, a small family farm nestled just outside Weatherford, Texas. Our name comes from the beautiful redbud trees that bloom across our land and the gentle hollow that runs through the heart of our property—a place where nature, family, and the love of Golden Retrievers come together. We’ve been raising Golden Retrievers for over 35 years, and they’ve been at the center of our lives from the very beginning. When my wife and I first met, it was my Golden, Rya, who stole her heart—and we’ve shared our lives with Goldens ever since. Our program is more than just breeding dogs. It’s about nurturing the traits that make Golden Retrievers extraordinary—loyalty, intelligence, gentleness, and a deep intuition that often goes beyond words. My service dog, Bella, could sense when I needed medication nearly an hour before any symptoms appeared. That kind of connection can’t be trained—it’s the heart of a Golden. Before she passed, Bella even began teaching Remmington, our beautiful dark auburn male, to recognize those same subtle signals. At Redbud Hollow, our Goldens are raised on a working farm alongside fainting goats, chickens, and our loyal Great Pyrenees livestock guardians. Every puppy grows up in a home filled with fresh air, hands-on care, and early experiences that lay the foundation for a lifetime of love and service. We use early neurological stimulation (ENS) and begin basic training as they grow, preparing each pup to thrive whether they become a family companion, a therapy partner, or a service dog.
