About Kay
Jeff and Kay Heikenfeld are a retired couple with a Hobby Farm in Rural West Virginia. We have a collection of goats, chickens, ducks and Great Pyrenees dogs. We started with 3 LGD Female sister litter mates, Fee, Fie, and Foe that we raised from puppies to work as pasture protectors for the goats. They were such great dogs and good workers that we decided to get them a companion, Fum. We raised him from a puppy as well. Being Livestock guardians they are hard workers. They are pure bred Great Pyrenees but are not registered, They are workers.
Now we have litters of puppies from time to time. Some of our offspring are working on farms, some are family pets, some are therapy dogs and they all are cute and well tempered.
About Kay Heikenfeld
Our dogs have barn space and pasture freedom. They are up to date with shots. Our pups have a space to be with their Mom until about 4 weeks. at that point they go out to the pasture some with their Mom. They learn about being a guardian from their Mom and Aunts and Dad. Our puppies start a worming regimen at 2 weeks and then receive their first Puppy shots at 6 weeks. We do have a health plan that we follow that we will give to you.
