First thank you for taking time to review our page! We are a 3rd generation breeder, father and son team! My father has been a breeder since the 1980s. In the 1990s he imported a male miniature bull terrier from Spain that ended up one of the top in the country and held confirmation show championships from multiple countries. He was also featured on television during the Westminster National Dog Show! Then we took time away from breeding before getting our first male Labrador about 10 years ago. But instead of focusing on the show ring we now focus on producing amazing pets for everyone, which is why we chose this incredible breed! Our dogs live in the home and are either on premises at my home or my father's who lives 10 minutes from me. First and foremost they are our pets, so their health is top priority! So we run a very strict and responsible breeding program. Before ever having a litter there health both physically and genetically is tested. To insure the health of the pups we first insure mom's health! To do this our girls will NEVER have more than one litter in a year, and no more than four litters in their life. Then at the age of six no matter what, even if they have not had four litters yet, they are retired. We have them spay and then their only mission in life is treats, loving, and keeping my feet warm at night at the end of the bed!!!! As far as the puppies, in Massachusetts puppies can be adopted at six weeks old. We choose to wait until they are eight weeks. This allows the puppies the extra time need to be on 100% dry kibble for food but also they can be given their second vaccination which brings their immunity percentage up much higher than just one.
