We have a home breeding environment where our Frenchies are truly part of the family. All of our adult Frenchies sleep in our beds with us. When we have puppies, during the first two weeks, the mom and her puppies stay in a small kiddie pool in our room so we can closely monitor and care for them. Once the puppies start walking, we move them into a large gated playpen (16 panels), which takes up most of our living room. We set up tarps on the floor for easy cleaning, along with a designated potty area lined with pads that are changed every 2–3 hours. Inside the playpen, the puppies have comfortable beds and plenty of toys to keep them safe, clean, and well cared for.
