My name is Darryl and I am the breeder behind SoCal Beards and Brows, a family owned business located in San Diego, Ca. I have always had dogs and cannot imagine life without them. Some of my fondest memories involve my dog, Brock. My siblings and I would play in the woods, and we always had Brock with us. He once saved my sister’s life by pulling her out of a frozen lake. Things were simple in those days. Kids could roam freely and be relatively safe. That is, if they weren't too adventurous and testing the ice over a frozen lake. Dogs are AMAZING!!! It's no wonder they're called Man's Best Friend! We love each one of our dogs and know that they love us in return unconditionally. We have met so many people that share our passion for dogs and especially this breed. I left my corporate job so I could do what I really love to do... spend all my time with my favorite people... the four-legged ones as well as the two-legged ones of like mind. Our goal is to breed beautiful, healthy, confident puppies that will bring you as much joy as they have for us. We love our dogs like our children. They are raised in our home as part of the family. We don’t scrimp on their food, supplements, and they see their vet regularly. We are often told that our house looks like a preschool. Our kids have a play area equipped with a fire hydrant, doll house, club house with a bridge, tunnels and a slide! They have nap time in their crates, learning time, TV time, couch time, and lots of play and cuddle time. Our puppies are bred from carefully selected genetically tested parents for optimum health, coat, temperament, body structure, and overall cuteness. They are loved from the moment they are born. We take pride in our breeding program which we implement to ensure that our puppies are given the very best chance to develop to their fullest potential. We start with Early Neurological Stimulation and Early Scent Introduction. They each get daily 10-point puppy massages. They watch puppy TV and listen to desensitizing noises such as fireworks, children playing, crying babies, construction noises, vacuums, etc. We introduce them to many situations to reduce skittishness. When our puppies leave us, they are confident, intuitive, and accustomed to being handled and groomed. They have been socialized with other dogs, children, and people of different cultures. They are brave, ready to experience new adventures, and are almost 100% potty trained! With all that we do, we believe that our puppies are really amazing by the time you get to take them home. When you buy a puppy from us you become part of our Schnauzer Family. We maintain relationships with our Schnauzer Family and hope to welcome you as part of our fur family too.
