About Linnea
Welcome to Bella Bernese! We are a small breeder. We live on fourteen acres in rural Maine where Selah (momma) has the ultimate doggie life.
She and her sire have both been DNA tested to ensure that all puppies are not at risk for Degenerative Myelopathy or Von Willebrand Disease.
We raise our pups in our home where we can keep a close eye on them and ensure that they are healthy, happy, clean pups!
Our puppy training:
-Three days after birth, we begin Early Neurological Stimulation Training. Studies show that this training makes puppies healthier and more resilient to stress. We also start desensitization training.
-We start potty training at three weeks using pine pellets, and begin taking them outside as soon as it's appropriate, weather determining. This gives you a good head start on house training:)
-Around six weeks, we put crates in their puppy area so that they can become comfortable with them, allowing for an easier transition to their new homes.
We use high quality dog food for momma and puppies. We have chosen a grain free diet, as we feel that this is best for their overall health, but especially their joints. We add probiotics, prebiotics, and spirulina to give them the healthiest start possible. We strive to do things as naturally as possible, and do not expose our puppies to x-rays in utero. All puppies receive dewormer every two weeks, come with their first vaccinations, and receive a two year health guarantee.
About Belle Bernese
We have a small family business breeding AKC registered Bernese Mountain Dog puppies. Our puppies are raised in a family setting on 14 acres of field and wood. They are very well socialized with children and other pets. We absolutely love this beautiful breed and enjoy seeing others enjoy them as well.
