About Us
We are a small family breeder located in Hamlin, West Virginia. We raise a few Bernedoodle litters a year so that we have time to dedicate to each of our litters. I have an extensive background in breeding and more than 11 years of experience in the veterinary field. Our dogs and puppies are raised in our home. Our puppy program consists of raising puppies under the Puppy Culture protocol with Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) & Early Scent Introduction (ESI) which consist of simple interactions early in a puppy's life (3-16 days) that may increase their ability to learn and cope successfully with stress, later on, thus leading to better welfare outcome. We follow the Puppy Culture program for puppy development, socialization and desensitization. After their ongoing socialization with mom and littermates, we provide daily exposure to a variety of real-world situations such as introducing your puppy to adults, kids, the car, the vet, household objects (vacuums, brooms, mops, electronics, hairdryer, etc.), dog toys, sounds (thunder, rain, fireworks, traffic, crying baby, etc.), grooming, and different environments. These interactions help to develop the foundation for a friendly and less stressed puppy and adult dog. Owners should continue to offer socialization and desensitization after the puppy goes home. Additionally, our puppies are started on potty and crate training at 3-weeks of age and continue until they leave us, this helps provide for a positive transition to their forever homes. All puppies receive worming treatments at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks and their first vaccination and veterinary exam at 8 weeks. Puppy vaccinations and worming treatments should continue based on your veterinarian's recommendations. All of our moms & dads are genetically tested, and we select parents that exhibit the traits we want our puppies to inherit. We elect not remove front dewclaws on our puppies. We offer a 2-year genetic health guarantee. At Our Appalachian Doodles, we continue to care about our puppies long after they leave us. As such, it’s our strict policy to only sell to individuals; we will never sell to pet shops, brokers or research facilities. To make sure our animals get the forever home they deserve, we carefully interview all potential owners. We are always available to answer questions and provide ongoing support. Our quality puppies are a product of our commitment to the highest standards for the genetics, and the physical and mental health of our dogs and our dedication to giving our puppies enrichment and direction in their early development. Contact us to find out more about our amazing puppies, our program and process for purchasing a puppy or to get on our waiting list. Thank you for considering one of our quality puppies and please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions.

Puppy Updates
Week 2 for Birdie & Blue's Litter and they are growing like crazy. All have met the milestone of doubling their birthweights before the 10-day mark and eyes are showing signs of opening in next couple of days.
