About Melissa
We are a family-run, IOEBA-registered Olde English Bulldogge kennel located just north of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Our journey began in 2008 with our first Olde English Bulldogge, Kairos. While Kairos had an incredible personality and always wanted to be part of the action, she struggled with breathing when overexerted. She became the inspiration behind our program and our commitment to producing bulldogs that truly embody the best of both worlds: strong, athletic, free-breathing dogs with the classic bulldog personality we love. From that point forward, our focus has been on improving health, structure, and temperament with each generation. Our program is built around producing well-rounded dogs with exceptional temperaments, sound structure, and long-term health—true to the original Olde English Bulldogge standard. Tater, a blue ribbon bred generational olde english bulldogg represents the progress of that vision. He is the 6th generation of our bloodline and a direct result of intentional, thoughtful breeding. He is active, healthy, and free-breathing—capable of running alongside bikes or one-wheels on our property and nearby roads with ease.
About Alpine Bullys
We’re fortunate to raise our dogs on a beautiful piece of property in North Idaho. All of our puppies are raised in our home—not in kennels—where they receive daily hands-on care, early socialization, and exposure to everyday sights and sounds. This strong foundation helps them grow into confident, stable, and well-adjusted companions for their future families. We are a small, intentional program that focuses on quality over quantity. Currently, we have one breeding female, Vida, and one breeding male, Tater. Both dogs enjoy a large open yard and are free to move between indoors and outdoors as they please. They are part of our daily lives and are never confined to kennels. When we have a litter, the puppies are born and raised in a whelping box right in our living room. This allows us to closely monitor them and interact with them consistently throughout the day and night. As they grow and weather allows, they are gradually introduced to the outdoors in a safe, fenced puppy area. This gives them fresh air and grass exposure while still providing a secure, manageable space where they won’t feel overwhelmed. We also begin early potty training using puppy pads. Puppies quickly learn to avoid soiling their sleeping area, which sets a solid foundation for future house training in their new homes.
