I love Yorkies! I have always had a house full of Yorkies for the last 30 years! They are the most loyal loving breed I have ever had! They cuddle, they play and are great for small apartments or condos. They also make great family pets. The hardest part about Yorkies is house breaking. I suggest kennel training. You let your baby outside just before you let them lose in the house you have less accidents that way. Slowly acclamate your puppy to being a inside dog by letting them spend more time outside the kennel daily. Also their teeth go bad fast if not properly cared for. You need to brush their teeth. Offer lots of teeth cleaning chews and toys. If you get a male that is not for breeding neuter them or they will mark in your home. They won't if you get them fixed. Yorkies are amazing and worth the investment. My yorkies keep me happy no matter what is going on in my life!! Puppies are so exciting! Waiting to see what colors your going to get if they are males or females, and raising a litter of puppies is so amazing and rewarding. Getting to be a part of the excitement watching your puppies go to a new family and knowing you had a part in giving the family's such an amazing companion. Yorkie breeders don't do this for the money it's for the joy of having beautiful puppies and for the love of the breed! Find a Breeder that really loves their Yorkies and loves having the puppies around that spoils their dogs. Your puppy will have more socialization and be a much better dog for it. You might pay more for it but the old saying you get what you pay for applies here. Don't go for the cheapest puppies. Those breeders are just want to make quick money and sell their puppies as fast as they can so they don't have to clean up after the babies anymore. I have the perfect AKC quality puppies that are loved and wanted even before they are even born! My yorkies are on a high protein diet, chicken, beef liver, cottage cheese, and always have their Science diet dog food available to them all day. They are fed high quality vitamins like nutri-stat. I recommend keeping your Yorkie on these vitamins for life! You want a puppy that has been loved and spoiled from before birth you come get a puppy from me! Happy hunting for a puppy.
