Greetings! Thank you for visiting us! At Artemis Moon Samoyeds, we believe that a happy dog, particularly a Samoyed, needs to be a member of the family. We raise our Samoyeds with purpose, to be ready to be a part of your family "pack". Whether it's walking trails, pulling sleds for fun or competition, a casual walk, a romp in the park or cuddling on the couch, our Sammies are ready to meet you and share the activities you and your family enjoy most. When it comes to raising puppies, at Artemis Moon, we provide ideal nutrition, keep high health standards, encourage time with both parents, and our small pack, to learn only what they can teach, and we savor the precious time they spend with us (Diana and Kurt). We spend dedicated time insuring our pups follow a developmental schedule, reflecting their cognitive and physical readiness at each stage of development when exposing them to new, enriching experiences. Our puppies are thoughtfully exposed to a wide variety of sounds, smells, environments, people and sensations to ensure that they will feel at home no matter what the activity is happening around them. Samoyeds are known for being friendly and cheerful dogs, and we work to ensure that those traits are genetically transferred by the careful selection of their parents. These traits are also encouraged and fostered by us, the breeders, from the puppies' earliest weeks until "Gotcha Day". Artemis Moon Samoyeds ensures our purebred puppies experience a purposeful exposure to the the sounds, environments, and social experiences appropriate to their cognitive stage of development so that they are less reactive, more confident and rebound quickly from unexpected stimuli. Our beautiful puppies are available beginning at 8 weeks of age, but we are very happy to keep them a bit longer as you prepare your house and family for their arrival.
