We met later in life in California and began to date in 2016. Didn't take us long to figure our that we were made for each other. We both love the outdoors from fishing, hiking, shooting, and of course pups.
I lost my job during COVID, so we decided to take what we discussed would be our retirement plan and move back to Texas now and open an Outdoor Shooting Range and raise Puppies. So here we are!

Copper Lodge Kennels is a small, family-run kennel dedicated to raising exceptional Golden Retrievers with outstanding temperament, health, and trainability. Our dogs are part of our daily life and are raised in a hands-on, enriched environment with plenty of socialization, exposure, and care from day one.
We focus on producing well-rounded puppies that make excellent family companions, outdoor partners, and service-minded dogs. Each litter is carefully planned with attention to pedigree, disposition, and overall quality. Our puppies are handled daily, introduced to new sights and sounds, and started with early social interaction to help ensure a smooth transition into their new homes.
All puppies come with AKC registration, age-appropriate vaccinations, health records, and a written health guarantee. We are committed to responsible breeding practices and to matching each puppy with the right family.
