I am not a breeder but my dogs had an unplanned litter.
The mom is a female black/brown long haired dachshund (1yr 11 months) and the dad is a red shorthair dachshund (2 years old). They can be seen on my profile picture or at the end of the slides.
They recently had their first and only litter of 8 puppies on March 2, 2026🐶

They are currently sleeping in a dog bed with siblings. Mom has begun to leave them alone inside the playpen more often. The puppies are still too small to go outside but are used to going potty in a pad instead of the bed. They are barely beginning to rough play between themselves but are not yet playing with dog toys.
