My family raised Shelties when I was young and I loved it. For 20 years I've taken in rescue/shelter puppies/dogs but after our family dog who we had for 11 years passed I knew it was time to get a sheltie and give my own children the same wonderful experience that I had with raising a few litters of Sheltie puppies. We only breed a 1-2 litters a year and our purposes are mainly for the life experiences of our children in teaching more responsibility and care of animals not to mention we just love puppies! Our shelties have 6 acres to safely run, play and explore during the day and a comfy bed in our home to sleep in at night. Our puppies are raised in our home, with children, cats and other pets around.
