My Yorkies are well taken care of; they go to the vet, eat well, and are groomed professionally. They eat Science Diet, Royal Canin, and other high-quality food. I cook for them; they enjoy turkey, chicken, and liver mixed with vegetables with a sprinkle of kibble at each meal. You will be able to tell by the quality of their coat. My females take prenatal vitamins when they are pregnant and continue to take vitamins when they are not to keep them healthy. I have three maternity wards for the females. When they have their puppies, they get an area all to themselves where it is calm and quiet. At four weeks, the puppies start on Royal Canin starter food, and their brains are stimulated with infant toys. They are weaned from mama by six weeks, and they begin to transition to being without mama. They are ready to go to their forever home by 8 to 12 weeks, depending on their size and if you have experience caring for a puppy. The puppies are usually pad-trained (washable) and can go out through a doggy door. I breed traditional colors, plus blond, brown, and parti colors. Their sizes vary from 3lbs to 10lbs. I recommend you meet your puppy. You can visit, or I can send videos, photos, or virtual meetings if you prefer that method. I sometimes place retired mamas and dads on the site.
