Puppies and Piggies Farm

We love our Great Pyrenees! They are our Gaurdian dogs for our 10 acre property as well as the 40 acres of our several neihbors. We stay up with our puppies through the first night making sure they all get a chance to eat and that no one gets accidentally laid on. This is our first litter and all 10 survived and thrived. Once they are mobile they are moved to the barn where they can be closed in with mom and a heat lamp for the night and let out during the day to get plenty of fresh air and sunshine. For those interested in our puppies as a LGD (Livestock Guardian Dog), they are kept with two Potbelly pigs and at night a goose and chickens going into the same area to sleep. Horses are also on the other side of the fence from them so they have plenty of interaction with other farm animals.
