Rocklin Goldens

We are small family breeder located in Rocklin, CA. Like many, we fell in love with the breed from a very young age and with that strive to breed and raise happy healthy, beautiful goldens. We believe that genetic testing is very important in preventing potential inherited diseases being passed on to our puppies. We follow OFA guidelines and use Embark to test our dogs DNA prior to ever breeding them. These genetic tests are a useful tool for eliminating inherited disorders from the breeding population which makes the results a significant contributory factor in achieving the goal of breeding healthy dogs. Our puppies are born and raised in our home. We socialize them every day exposing them to many experiences, noises and everyday living to ensure that they will be confident, happy, well-balanced puppies. We would love for you to know that we do not operate on a "kennel-based system." The puppies are literally raised in our home as family pets from day 1! This means from birth they are whelped inside our home, typically in our living room areas, they sleep inside our home inside their whelping area until they move to a bigger play area/pen. Once they reach 5-6 weeks old (weather permitting) we allow them to roam outside our backyard in a designated area that is designed to be clean and puppy friendly!! We do everything in our power to treat them and raise them up to be wonderful well-rounded pets from the very beginning!
