At Sweeties Yorkies, our puppies reflect an extraordinary level of care, dedication, and investment. Responsible breeding at the highest standards requires extensive health testing, showing, veterinary care, and constant hands-on attention from the very beginning. These puppies are raised with immense love and are given an exceptional start in life, along with lifelong support for their families. As a veterinarian, my goal is not simply to breed puppies, but to be a lifelong resource for the families who welcome them home. Each puppy comes with a lifetime of veterinary, training, and grooming guidance from their human veterinarian grandma, ensuring you always have trusted advice as your puppy grows. Puppies will receive all—or most—of their first year vaccinations depending on their go-home age, with the option to return for their remaining vaccines if you live nearby or prefer for them to stay with me until that time. They go home already microchipped and registered to you, with full comprehensive bloodwork completed. They are also enrolled in top-tier pet insurance prior to going home, which will be transferred to their new family. If you are able to return to New York, spay or neuter at six months of age is also included. From the very beginning, puppies are thoughtfully socialized with other dogs, human babies, household sounds, and the outside world, with early training already started. Each puppy also goes home with a carefully prepared welcome kit filled with veterinarian-approved food, treats, dental care products, and essentials to help your new baby transition smoothly. Both parents are AKC Champions and Grand Champions. My dogs are fully health tested beyond the highest standards, ensuring the best possible foundation for our puppies. These babies are deeply loved, and placing them in new homes is never easy. Because of that, we are very selective and seek only the very best homes. Families who welcome one of our puppies truly become part of our extended family. 🥰 Each puppy will come with: • Lifetime veterinary, training, and grooming guidance from their veterinarian grandma • All—or most—of their first year vaccinations depending on go-home timing • Microchip already registered to you • Full comprehensive bloodwork • Spay or neuter at 6 months of age if you are able to return to New York • Extensive early socialization with dogs, babies, household noises, and outdoor environments • Early training already started • A welcome-home kit with veterinarian-approved food, treats, dental care, and essentials Our non-negotiable standards: • No breeding rights. We support only the highest level of responsible breeding, which requires extensive health testing, AKC conformation showing, and resources that are extremely difficult to achieve. For the health and wellbeing of these puppies, spay or neuter is required once they are old enough. • Excellent veterinary care throughout life. Puppies will already be enrolled in the best available pet insurance, and we require that this coverage be maintained. If you do not live nearby for me to remain involved in their veterinary care, I simply ask to be kept updated. • They must be loved and spoiled. 🥰 The cost of our puppies reflects the extremely high expenses involved in responsible breeding—including pre-breeding health testing, showing champion dogs, whelping care, and extensive veterinary oversight. Even with these costs, this is not done for profit. It is done because we are deeply passionate about Yorkshire Terriers and committed to being a trusted resource for families who expect the very best from their breeder <3.
