My love for dachshunds started at a young age. My older sister brought home the most wonderful red dachshund. Years later when she moved out the dog stayed home with the family. She had a couple of litters & I loved it. Once I was an adult I had three more dachshunds & a couple of litters. Those dogs lived a long life. One was well into 18 years. My dogs are my family. I now have a three year old Dam who has had her first litter this year. She has Russian import in her line. Her father & grandfather were AKC Grand Champions.
