I started breeding labs 5 years ago. I love labs because I find them to be the most versatile of all dogs, they can stay warm in the winter, even able to endure frigid water and temperature and they can endure the heat as well. They're good with kids and they're fairly easy to train. I have built my dogs a 40ft x 40ft kennel with a insulated house that keeps them warm in the winter and cool in the summer. My stud is brown and one of the greatest Retrievers I've ever owned he fetches everything and brings it back every time, I even have him retrieving golf balls when I practice my wedge shots. His temperment is laid back, he normally sticks around me and never wanders off when walking, he can be easily excited when playing fetch or any other game and he is very obedient. I have two females both of them are black. One is hyper and a good retriever. The other one is more mellow and is an okay retriever. The dogs have access to 80 acres and a pond, which I take them to every week so they get plenty of swimming and exercising and they are always sniffing out pheasants in bushes for all you hunters out there.
