It was honestly just an idea that my son’s stepmom and I had while in conversation. I have a female pug (fawn colored), Dakota, and she has a male pug (black), Alastor. They both have the brindle gene in their lineage. Everyone in our families has and loves pugs. We wanted to share our love for pugs and the good genes of our own pugs with our friends and families and other pug lovers.
