Double S Golden Retrievers is located in a small town in south Alabama on a 10 acre homestead. We chose to purchase a male and female golden retriever for our kids to grow up with. As we got to know the breed and did our research, we decided to start a breeding program so other families can enjoy the love, excitement, personality and beauty that our sire and dam will produce. We currently have 1 sire and 1 dam. The Sire (Boaz) has longer course golden hair. Boaz can be very active when needed and also be very laid back. He is very alert and protective (not in an aggressive way). Our dam (Ruth) has very soft golden hair. Ruth is very obedient, loves to please, and is timid. Both sire and dam have very strong retriever instincts. Combining these two personalities and looks should produce extremely well rounded mannerisms and coats. Puppies will be CKC registered, Field Golden Retrievers. Puppies will be exposed to all things farm related (animals, noises, work, love, and children). Puppies will go home with a puppy starter kit, CKC registration papers, and fully vetted. We allow our puppies to be rehomed at 8 weeks old.
