About Amelia
**Each puppy is raised in my home and comes with a one-year health guarantee, a puppy care guide, bag of starter food, and puppy pads. I do not require deposits to place a puppy on hold. I want families to feel confident and comfortable every step of the way.** I take time to connect with each family to help match the right puppy to the right home. A quick phone call, preferably FaceTime, is required before meeting in person. I’d love to introduce myself and my dogs. Years ago, my mother fell in love with Miniature Schnauzers while I was drawn to Bichon Frise. Over time, those two worlds came together, and our first Chonzer was born. I fell in love with the blending of the two breeds. Both breeds are low-shedding and allergy-friendly, intelligent, and incredibly loving. Schnauzers bring a bit of spunk and protectiveness. Bichons bring a bit of playfulness, charm, and fluff. But at the time, I was focused on raising my children and pursuing my education as a vet tech. A handful of years later, I decided I wanted to breed Chonzers. My dogs are raised in my home as part of the family. I take an intentional approach to breeding and I plan litters based on interest, so puppies have homes waiting for them from the start. ***I’m a strong advocate for shelters and believe adoption is always worth considering. At the same time, thoughtfully bred puppies can offer something different—predictability, known history, and carefully selected traits. I’ve worked with my dogs’ lineage for nearly 15 years, so I have an understanding of their health, temperament, and consistency from one generation to the next. My Chonzer dams come from a foundation of AKC Miniature Schnauzers and Bichons, and my Miniature Schnauzer sires are AKC registered. All of my dogs live in my home, not in kennels. They have full access to the house and a large fenced yard, but most of the time... they’re right beside us. They use us as beds, they have a spot in our large window where they wait for us to come back from the store, and they let us know when USPS pulls up. They’re part of our daily life in every way, and honestly, they’re more entertaining than tv. Because of that, placing my puppies matters deeply to me. They are raised as family, and I’m committed to finding homes that will treat them the same. I do not place puppies on a first-come basis. I take the time to carefully select the right families for each one. If you have any questions, I'm available anytime. Please don't hesitate to reach out. 🐶🐾🐶
