We are a family with an adoration for Dachshunds! Our journey began with the loss of our beloved Evie, a delightful red smooth coat girl. I was uncertain about where to begin my search for a new puppy. Who could I rely on, who could I trust? Searching for a new Dachshund baby to join our family can be an anxiety-inducing experience. These precious fur babies are like our own children and deserve to be treated accordingly. Hence, I wanted to ensure that I found a new Dachshund puppy from a reputable source. As fate would have it, the mother of one of my daughter's friends happened to be a seasoned Dachshund Breeder with two decades of experience. Naturally, I placed my trust in her and welcomed a new furry addition into our lives. We developed a close friendship, worked together, and when she decided to retire, I took over Maplewood Dachshunds. That was 12 years ago! Of course, none of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of my husband, who embraced my desire to bring joy to families by providing them with a new Dachshund puppy, just as I experienced all those years ago.
