Exceptional Quality Veterinarian raised AKC Bernese Mountain dogs/puppies. I take great pride in my adult males and / or females that are used as breeders. As a vet, it was very important from the beginning to use breeding dogs that are great examples of the AKC breed standards. Genetic testing and in most dog's passing OFA hip and elbow assessments. In the dogs I have purchased from pups with the intent to breed, I did my due diligence. It is vital , to gain as much information as possible , to decide which momma/daddy to use in a breeding scenario. The goal in the pups, is to not amplify any faults from either parent (ex. breeding 2 dogs together that have bad bites. not crossing dogs that have or have had pups in past with a blue eye(s). These are all traits that can be bred out when choosing carefully. Other criteria is personality. All our dog's are pets and treated as such. (2 females, 1 male) They are extremely outgoing and love everyone. My dogs are extremely athletic and agile for their size. Lastly, longevity. I want healthy parents, that live out long lives, as a better predictor for the pups born. Using the above criteria, our puppies are very nice overall.
