I have spent my life with Collies and breed with one clear goal, to preserve and improve the breed by producing healthy, well-tempered dogs that are true to the Collie standard. My program is focused on health, temperament, structure, and long-term breed preservation. All breeding dogs are genetically tested for Collie-related conditions, and OFA evaluated for hips and elbows, and are either AKC Champions or actively working toward their championships. Every puppy is examined by a licensed veterinary ophthalmologist prior to placement. Occasionally, my program includes co-bred litters with established exhibitors and breeders I have long-standing relationships with. Regardless of arrangement, all puppies are raised under consistent standards of health testing, care, and early socialization throughout their development and placement. Puppies are raised with a strong focus on stable temperaments and early socialization. Each potential home is carefully screened, and puppies are matched individually based on temperament, lifestyle, and compatibility rather than placed on a first-come, first-served basis. Not every puppy in a litter will be considered a show prospect, and that is completely normal in preservation breeding programs. Companion puppies are bred with the same careful attention to health, genetics, temperament, and structure as every other puppy in the litter — with differences that are primarily cosmetic and do not affect health, temperament, or quality of life. All puppies are sold with a written contract and placed on limited AKC registration as companion and performance dogs. They are eligible to participate in a wide range of AKC events, including obedience, agility, rally, scent work, herding, and other performance sports. When you bring home a puppy from my program, you gain a breeder who remains available for guidance and support throughout the life of your dog.
