Our Story: Born from Courage and Comfort ​At Level Up Family Labradors, our journey began in a place we never expected: a pediatric oncology ward. When our son was six years old, he faced a battle with kidney cancer. During his treatments, the brightest light in the hospital was a gentle Black Lab therapy dog who provided him with a sense of safety and peace that only a dog can offer. ​Inspired by that bond, our son dreamed of having a Labrador of his own to train for touch therapy. Thanks to the incredible kindness of a fellow breeder who gifted him a puppy, that dream became a reality. Our first Lab became more than a pet; he was a soulmate and a steady companion through recovery. Seeing the impact he had on everyone he met—and the way people constantly asked for "a dog just like him"—inspired us to share this incredible lineage with others. Today, we are dedicated to raising Labradors with the temperament, intuition, and love that helped our family heal.
