Snowlion Alaskan Malamutes was established in 1989. We are a small show and sledding kennel located near Lake Tahoe dedicated to preserving the classic appearance and athleticism of this working breed. Our dogs are recognized world wide by breed enthusiasts for their beautiful type. Over the years we've produced numerous Best in Show dogs and champions of record in the US, Canada, South America, Europe, Russia, Australia and China as well as countless working-titled dogs: lead dogs, team dogs and packing dogs. Our malamutes have been trained for search and rescue, service work as well as show and sledding, but most of all they are beloved family dogs.
