About 5 years ago my husband and I bought our first hunting dog. A silver lab, Argent. He was AMAZING as a hunter; great nose, great retrieving, and he pointed! He was also a great family dog. We decided we loved him sooo much we always wanted a part of him with us, so we contacted LANKAS Labs, where we got Argent and purchased a female (Callie, a charcoal), unrelated to Argent. The plan was to have 1 litter and and keep one of Argent's pups. Before that could happen, Argent died in a freak accident and we were devastated. Callie has an amazing nose, better even than Argent's, but she's gun-shy. So Callie became our family dog and she's the sweetest, most fetching-est dog there is. Because of these 2 AMAZING dogs, we're die-hard Lab Lovers and love to share this wonderful breed with other hunters and families. All the pups are AKC registered, raised in our home and are kept up to date on all medical. We are a small breeder, as such we only have 1-2 litters a year. They are all also exposed to children and other pets.
