At Once Upon a Ween, we are a small, in-home breeding program specializing in Miniature Dachshunds in both long-haired and smooth coats. With over 20 years of experience (since 2004), we are dedicated to producing exceptional puppies with a focus on health, temperament, and true breed quality. Our puppies are lovingly raised inside our home—not in kennels—where they receive daily hands-on socialization, early neurological stimulation, and exposure to everyday household life. This intentional start helps develop confident, well-adjusted companions who transition easily into their new families. We carefully select our breeding dogs for sound structure, stable temperaments, and strong, well-planned pedigrees. Every puppy is raised with the same level of care and attention as our own dogs, reflecting our commitment to ethical, responsible breeding practices.
