About Brook
We are a small family farm, and raising puppies was never something we set out to do as a business. Our original plan was simply to have a litter from our beloved family dog and bless a few of our own family members with a puppy. Well…our girl had a few more puppies than we expected! ❤️
And while this wasn’t necessarily part of our original plan, we have absolutely fallen in love with the experience of raising these little ones.
Because we are a small family operation, our puppies receive lots of individual attention and plenty of love every single day. They are being raised right here in our home, surrounded by our family and all the normal sights, sounds, and experiences that come with family life.
We believe that a puppy’s early experiences help shape the wonderful dog they become. Our puppies are given plenty of opportunities to be held, cuddled, played with, talked to, and introduced to different people and everyday household experiences. They are growing up as part of our family—not tucked away in a kennel or raised in a large-scale breeding facility.
We are very attentive to all of our animals and take great pride in giving them the care, love, and attention they deserve. Our goal is to give each puppy the best possible start and help them transition confidently into their forever homes.
We may be small, but we believe that means we can be intentional, hands-on, and personal with every puppy we raise. These little ones have already brought so much joy to our family, and it is our hope that they will go on to bring that same love, laughter, and companionship to their forever families. 🐶❤️

Our puppies are raised right here on our small family hobby farm, where they are truly part of our everyday family life. We keep our puppies indoors in our home, where they are surrounded by the sights, sounds, and activity of a busy family household.
They aren’t simply placed in a space and left on their own. We are hands-on and attentive around the clock, making sure they are comfortable, safe, socialized, and getting plenty of love and interaction throughout the day and night.
As they grow, our puppies also enjoy regular outdoor time and supervised play, giving them opportunities to experience fresh air, new sights and sounds, and the fun of exploring their surroundings.
We love that our puppies get the best of both worlds—a clean, comfortable indoor home environment along with plenty of supervised outdoor play and exploration. Most importantly, they receive lots of human interaction, cuddles, playtime, and attention from our family.
Our goal is for every puppy to leave Butternut Farmhouse feeling loved, confident, well-socialized, and ready to become a cherished member of their forever family. ❤️🐶🌾
