Hello, I have a very highly intelligent Shih-poo male who I always wanted a litter of Shih-poo babies from. I was finally able to get me a nice smart female and have allowed for one breeding between the two before getting her fixed. I AM NOT A YEAR AROUND BREEDER and AM NOT A PUPPY MILL. I have 4 dogs (a pitbull mix, boxer mix, and two toypoodle-shih-tzu mix) who all live in the house with us, sleep with us and both the shih-poos even travel with us on a day to day basis. Our dogs are part of our family. Because I am not a breeder or a puppy mill, these 5 little babies are being raised in the house with us along with the rest of our four legged kids. I am so proud of the outcome of this breeding between Mom and dad. I can see that these puppies are already showing signs of intelligence at four weeks old, just like the parents.

Because I am not a standard breeder and because I am not a puppy mill these 5 puppies are being raised in my house. I have four dogs ( a pitbull mix, a boxer mix, and two shih-poos who are the parents to these babies) all of these dogs live in the home with my husband and I sleep with us and both the Shih-poos travel with us on a daily basis when she's not caring for her babies.
Since our dogs live with us in our home, so does the puppies. I have created a "fort like" area for them to roam and be free. This area consist of a wooden crate that has padding for them to lay. I have put cardboard down on my floor and have two puppy pads on the cardboard for them to begin learning to potty train on. The area that they have is about 4 ft wide by about 10 ft long. The puppies can run this area as they please and the mother can come and go as she feels necessary. THERE IS NO GATES, and NO CAGES involved in my set up.
THE PUPPIES ARE ALSO TAKEN OUTSIDE ON A DAILY BASIS to romp, play and get some fresh air.
