About Winsome House Pointers
We have an indoor whelping pen in our kitchen, where puppies are attended to very regularly by several adults and children in the household. Our recent litter was delivered by c-section and ended up needing daily bottle feeding, so they got lots of human interaction. Our main yard is quite spacious (about 1/4 acre) and pups have access to many surfaces and obstacles to challenge their physical skills. They are slowly introduced to water and car rides, and desensitized to being handled, to loud noises, and to children and chaotic environments.
