I live in rural Fountain with my Akitas, who are healthy, happy, and content. They have been well socialized with people, cats, horses, and poultry, and the puppies receive a lot of attention between me and my three girls.
I chose the Akita breed because I was searching for a loyal protection dog that would do well with my family and other animals. In my experience, Akitas do not have the high prey drive that many breeds do. They are more thoughtful and tenacious, with a free-thinking nature that makes them excellent home protectors.
Akitas thrive on love and respect, and when raised this way they become incredibly devoted companions. I decided to have some litters before spaying because I have the space, setup, and knowledge to raise them well, but this will likely be her final litter.
I care deeply about where my puppies go and want them to be placed with families who understand and appreciate the Akita’s loyal and protective nature.
About Private breeder
My Akitas are raised at my home in rural Fountain in a quiet country setting. I am not a large breeder and only have one female, so the dogs here are truly part of our family. Both parents live on site and are family dogs first and foremost.
The dogs are raised around people, cats, horses, chickens, and geese; and are accustomed to daily activity around the property. The puppies receive a great deal of attention from both me and my three girls, which helps them grow into confident and well-socialized dogs.
Visitors are welcome to meet the dogs and interact with them when coming to see the puppies. My Akitas genuinely enjoy meeting people and often get very excited when someone comes to visit. They seem to love the attention and the excitement that comes with people visiting the puppies.
Growing up in this environment helps the puppies become comfortable around both people and animals. My goal is to raise healthy, well-adjusted Akitas that will become loyal companions in their new homes.
