About Tracy
I am excited to be breeding Australian shepherds and Australian Shepherd Bernese mountain dog crosses. This is a great mix give the Aussie a little calmness yet still have their fun personality. This mix also help lessen breed specific illnesses and you still get some pups with Aussie coat colors and eye colors. I will be adding two more Australian Shepards to my program and will have purebred Aussies eventually. I am very happy with this mix and you will be too. All of my dogs live in our home with us always. I'm so excited to do what I love.
About Tracy Mishler
To start out with we have a three season porch and we put a whelping box in there for Mom and the puppies and we have patio door that closes so she can have privacy from the other dogs after giving birth and up until they're old enough to come on out and play with the other dogs. I have a loveseat in there and I spend a lot of time in there with the puppies because my mother dog is a velcro Aussie and she doesn't want to be without me basically so if I'm not in there with her she won't stay in there and feed the babies unless I'm sleeping or at work she does just fine but if I'm home she wants me with her I would be in there anyway cuz I want to be around the puppies as much as possible. We also set up a play area in our living room with play yards to keep the bigger dogs away from them just so they can be out in the environment with more people on the TV and different sounds of everyday life. Then eventually when they're old enough they can just come out and integrate with all the other pets in the home and us and they'll just be on the three season porch at night when we go to bed. We live on five acres right off of the river and we have a huge dog yard that's fenced off it's connected to our back door this is where they spend all of their outdoor time unless we are doing something else in the front yard some of them can come out with us, the ones that stay in the yard really well anyway. I have a great Pyrenees and a couple others that would wander off so they can't come out front without being on leashes or leads. Most of my dogs love swimming in the river we also have a huge walking path going through the woods on our property then we go over to a meadow to play Frisbee and stuff like that. The puppies would mainly stay in the backyard until they go to their new homes just to keep them safe and away from any neighbor animals that might come through which doesn't usually happen but you never know. The only time they come to the front yard is when we get visits from buyers and then they'll be in a small fenced in area.
