About Shantelle
Both Sire and Dam are AKC registered (will provide proof), from quality hunting and show lines. This cross-breed is intentional for versatility, intelligence, adaptability, appearance and size.
Our puppies are raised with children, other animals and handled daily. These beautiful fur babies are looking for an active "forever" home where they can run, play and thrive! We start the potty training, socialization, crate training and more!
"Pocket Pointers" are high energy, highly trainable and incredibly loyal. They inherit the "velcro dog" personality of both breeds, ensuring they will never want to leave your side (in your Pocket.)
About Sweet's Pocket Pointers
We breed exclusively once a year, alternating between spring and fall litters with our AKC-registered Dam and Sire.
Our choice to create this designer breed is highly intentional. These "Pocket Pointer" pups beautifully combine the legendary drive and intelligence of the German Shorthaired Pointer with the agile, affectionate, and compact nature of the Brittany Spaniel. Whether you are searching for a dedicated hunting partner or a vibrant addition to your family, these puppies are bred for ultimate versatility.
To give your puppy the best possible start, they will come home with a strong foundation in:
Potty Training: Early stages initiated.
Crate Training: Introduction and positive association started.
Socialization: Heavily socialized with people and everyday environments.
Is a Pocket Pointer right for you?
We live a very active lifestyle, and these dogs thrive on the same. Because of their heritage, they require moderate exercise or a solid daily walk to stay happy and healthy. Full-grown, they typically range from 30 to 60 lbs, depending on whether they lean more toward the GSP or Brittany size.
While they absolutely love to cuddle, they are true working and sporting breeds at heart. We ask that all prospective owners research both breeds to ensure you can provide the active, engaged environment they need to thrive.
