About Shirley
I am a small breeder that prefers to breed quality not quantity.
I primarily work with imported lines from West Germany working lines and/or West Germany show lines.
.I am an experienced animal handler, previous vet tech, trainer and breeder with over 20 years experience. I am a lifetime German Shepherd lover.
I have worked as a vet tech, with laboratory research animals, pet stores, worked with professional handlers in their kennels and helped with training and helped with general care when we raised dogs when I was a young girl. I bring this experience and knowledge with me as we raise every litter we have.
My dogs are our pets and they live in a home environment with us and have 8 acres to run on. When in our home, they have a roomy 3500 square foot home to explore, plenty of toys and lots of attention.
I try to socialize the pups to things they will experience in their life’s like such as walking on leash, different walking surfaces, stairs, crates etc to help them navigate their life’s as they grow up. I believe this helps them once they find their forever homes.

My dogs live in our house with us and we consider them our pets.
We live in the country on 8 acres and the dogs once trained, can run free in the yard as long as we supervise them. We do have large outside pens for exercise if needed or if we are busy.
We have a puppy playpen area on the porch that is covered with a roof and ceiling fans set up for younger pups. This keeps them safe from various large birds and other wild animals until they are older, larger pups. Of course Mom or Dad are always with them when they are outside till they are older.
This helps keep them safe till they are bigger and can be moved to the bigger pens.
