All of our miniature dachshunds are genetically tested by Wisdom Panel for 250+ health issues and cleared before we have puppies!
We believe in holistic health for our dogs! We give them several kinds of supplements, such as zesty paws multivitamins, heartguard, ancestral blends organs and marrow, and probiotics as needed.
Our pups are born and raised in our living room with our 5 homeschooled children. We are always home and at 8 weeks they will go home with a vet check, their first vaccine (w/o lepto as dachshunds are sensitive) dewormed, and started on potty training.

About Jirah’s Dachshunds
We have our puppies in our living room, with a doggy door for our adult dogs. I feed them home made food sometimes, alternate their kibble to prevent food allergies, wisdom panel test them, expose them to babies and kids and a family environment, and start them on potty pad training and grass before they go home. We guarantee their genetic health for the first 1 year.
Please be aware that medications such as flea and tick prevention and vaccines have caused adverse effects in dogs of all breeds and we hope you make an educated decision before giving them meds that could harm them. Please never give your dogs anything containing xylitol (a toxic sweetener) or raisins, and always look up the plants in your yard to make sure they’re not toxic to dachshunds. Seal all fences, including small holes, as dachshunds are escape artists. If you ever are no longer able to take care of your puppy, we require they be returned to us so we can make sure they’re adopted into a forever home.
