We have been raising AKC/ASCA Australian Shepherds since 2015. We compete all across the country with our dogs. We breed for health and temperaments.
About Larkwood Australian Shepherds
Our dogs are family dogs first, they live inside with us. We have a fenced yard for excerise. We travel with the dogs often, usually to shows. Our litters are whelped in the spare bedroom where it is quiet for the new mother to raise her litter. Puppies join us in the main part of the home when they are around four weeks old and getting around better. We have large outside setups for puppies to spend time when we are home. Pups are well socialized, noise desensitized, healthy and happy when they leave for their forever homes. We prioritize health and temperament of our pups, as many go as loving family companions. Our dogs are bred for performance - agility, rally, obedience, herding, therapy, scentwork.
