About Irma
🐾13 Years. Countless Puppies. One Commitment: Doing What’s Best for the Dog. For 13 years, I have had the privilege of raising, loving, and placing puppies with families who will cherish them for a lifetime. Breeding is something I genuinely love, but I also understand that loving dogs means much more than enjoying the happy moments. It means responsibility. It means continuing to learn. It means being honest. It means sleepless nights. It means hours of cleaning. And sometimes, it means making difficult decisions even when your heart says otherwise. I’ve learned over the years that my emotions cannot be the deciding factor when it comes to the dogs in my care. Their health, well-being, temperament, and quality of life have to come first — even when doing what is right is difficult or heartbreaking. When one of my puppies goes home, my responsibility doesn’t end at the time of sale. I want my puppy families to know that they have me for years to come. Updates are always welcome and genuinely appreciated. I love seeing the puppies grow, hearing about their personalities, celebrating their milestones, and watching the bond between them and their families develop. Those updates mean more to me than people probably realize. And if life ever changes and a family finds themselves unable to keep one of my puppies or dogs, I want them to contact me. I am committed to taking back any puppy or dog I have bred if they ever need to be rehomed, regardless of the reason. My hope is that none of my dogs will ever find themselves in a shelter when I can help provide a safe alternative. That is what responsible breeding means to me: the commitment doesn’t end when a puppy leaves my home. The families who have welcomed my puppies have shared some incredibly meaningful experiences — puppies who are happy, healthy, socialized, playful, loving, and full of personality. I’m grateful for every kind review, every photo, every update, and every family who continues to stay in touch. I don’t believe anyone ever “finishes” learning how to be a better breeder. After 13 years, I am still learning, still growing, and always looking for ways to improve. I love sharing the knowledge and experience I’ve gained, while remaining open to learning more. At the end of the day, this has never been just about puppies. It’s about the lives I’m responsible for, the families who trust me, and the lifelong commitment that comes with bringing a dog into this world. My puppies may leave my home, but they never leave my heart — and they never stop being my responsibility. 13 years later, I still believe the same thing: Do what is best for the dog — even when it isn’t the easiest thing to do.
