NATURALLY REARED CATAHOULA LEOPARD /GERMAN SHORT HAIRED POINTER PUPPIES:

These beautiful puppies are being raised via Natural Rearing which includes having the best of nutrition via the raw food diet during conception, fetal development and during the weaning process. The parents have been Naturally Reared as well. They primarily eat grass fed beef but have been introduced They have started homeopathic nosodes for homeopathic puppy vaccines, heart-worm and rabies. Upon adoption, the nosode follow up is one time per month for 6 months.
The weaning went very smoothly with their mother, Tulip, who slowly decreased nursing, yet was still quite attentive to her pups. This is has contributed to very secure well adjusted puppies. Some pups went to their new fantastic homes between 10 and 11 weeks. The remaining 2 pups fully weaned from their mother on August 6.
The pups are currently eating a raw food diet ( muscle meat plus organ meat ), raw goat milk, a variety of puréed raw vegetables, apple cider vinegar, raw garlic, fresh ground raw unsalted pumpkin seeds, with a plant based digestive enzyme 3 times per day. They also enjoy raw cow bones which alleviate teething pain, strengthens their jaw muscles, cleans their teeth, provides mental stimulation & entertainment and helps prevent boredom and behaviorial issues in pups.
I have fed all my dogs raw food for over 24 years and taught many how to feed raw as they flourish from diet.
They have had daily hands on love & care, nails clipped, ears wiped, been bathed in sink with warm water and are now being rinsed with the hose ( on shower mode ) after their daily walks.
They have been exposed to rain and thunder ( with our current summer thunder & lightening storms ). They are housed in a safe environment with their mother and people during the storms and have shown no fear.
They are used to house sounds like the vacuum cleaner, dishwasher, washer and dryer, blow dryer, water running, and kitchen appliances, ie., blender and coffee grinder. They hear sounds from all our farm animals and our loud ( at times) blue and gold macaw.
They live amongst our 7 cats, 4 smaller senior dogs and 3 larger dogs.
They enjoy part of the morning on a covered porch with ceiling fans — they are able to smell, hear and see all of our farm animals. As of late they are inside more with the Florida summer heat. Upon placing all but two of the pups, I have moved them from my bedside whelping area to sleeping with me in my bed with the rest of my dogs. They sleep soundly all night, get up and go potty outside upon awakening.
They are out with our chickens, roosters, ducks, geese and guineas during morning and evening feed.
They go on walks at least 2x per day with my 3 adult dogs and 9 goats around our 8 acres. They run and play at the shallow end of our pond but are not yet doing a full swim with their parents. During walks they walk and run amongst horses, donkeys, goats, pigs and fowl.
We have done everything possible to give these puppies the very best start in life and trust they will be absolutely stellar dogs.
Temperament most often runs through the mother and she is very well balanced. Tulip has had the best of care since we got her as a young pup. These pups seem to have taken on her disposition rather than their father, Gunther. They will still need appropriate consistent exercise but not as much as with a full bred German short haired pointer. They will be outstanding family dogs and will require exercise.
They are now ready to be loved and enjoyed in their new homes.
