My love for Golden Retrievers and the joy they bring to families is the heart behind Copper City Goldens. I'm a small, home-based breeder in Central New York, where my dogs are cherished members of our family.
Raising our puppies is truly a family affair! My granddaughters enjoy spending time helping me care for and socialize the puppies, giving them plenty of love and positive experiences with children. One of my greatest joys is watching each puppy develop its own unique personality and helping match them with the right family.
My breeding program also has a special purpose close to my heart. Having lost my mother to cancer, I became involved with a wonderful organization supporting children affected by cancer through therapy dogs. I've had the privilege of donating one of my Goldens, Peppa, to this meaning program.
For me, raising Goldens is about more than breeding beautiful dogs. It's about giving them the best possible start and seeing the love and happiness they bring to others.
About Copper City Goldens
At Copper City Goldens, our dogs are family and live right alongside us in our home. We are a small, in-home breeding program in Central New York, raising just one or two litters a year. Our puppies receive daily attention, early socialization, playtime, and exposure to everyday household activities.
They enjoy both indoor and outdoor play areas and interaction with our adult dogs. Our goal is to raise healthy, happy, well-adjusted Golden Retrievers and give each puppy the best possible start in life.
We believe early experiences play an important role in a puppy's development. Our puppies are introduced to a variety of everyday sights, sounds, and experiences, including household activities, car rides, grooming, children, other dogs, and outdoor environments. We also incorporate Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI).
We place a strong emphasis on temperament and have taken the additional step of having our current litter professionally evaluated to better understand each puppy's individual personality and help match them with the right family. Our goal is to give every puppy a wonderful foundation for a happy, well adjusted life.
