The puppies born in my home are all raised to be house companions with the goal of reaching their potential as emotional support animals to enrich the lives of their special humans. My dogs live in my house and are companions, along with cats and tarantulas. I prefer giving them a varied diet and don't rely completely on processed commercial dog food. They enjoy in moderation/as treats: blueberries (I read the antioxidants help with tear stains) greek yogurt (nobody is lactose intolerant as of yet) cooked sweet potatoes, chicken jerky, and sardines in water (no salt added). I control fleas with generic nitenpyram I buy online instead of topical/ monthly flea and tick prevention because the pesticides have PFAS chemicals that impact kidney and liver health. After the initial 8 week vet exam I purchase over the counter usda approved vaccines and administer myself, the vaccine dose/date sticker is placed in the puppies book as proof of vaccine for your vet. My momma dogs love their babies and enjoy their bonds, I don't separate pups until they're ready, additionally, it's my intention to raise happy puppies and agree to only suitable homes.
