About Stefanie
Hi!!! We got started in this hobby/ venture after we fell in love with the Olde English Bulldogge breed after our first Olde male Enzo!
I had ALWAYS wanted to be a veterinarian when I was younger until I realized I'm not the best with blood and don't think I could do any type of major surgery due to that...
So then my dream changed to running a kennel/rescue and breeding, I just never really pursued it... Because well life!
My husband is an animal person as well and loves dogs just as much as I do!!
We had an opportunity fall into our lap that we couldnt pass up with taking over our Breeders partners dogs as she's getting older and has a lot of health issues and wasn't able to care for her dogs any longer. We initially only wanted the Male Biscuit, as he is our first males (Enzo) full brother from a different litter but ended up taking on 4 dogs total + assisting in finding forever homes for her last litter of pups! We call it a hobby as we only have around 2 litters a year, we let our females recover in-between litters and skip heats/we do not breed back to back heats (unless an accident happens as they do sometimes happen) and we like to retire our females after they have had their 3rd litter!
About Knapp's WiggleButt's ♡ Olde Bulldogges
We live in a very rural wooded area on 20 acres of our own property surrounded by another 40 of family property, aside from our house the 60 acres is all woods!
We moved into pur house about a year ago after 2yrs of building it, our setnup with the dogs is still a work in progress. Our dogs are our family they live, eat, and sleep with us- but because we do have 7 of them and our house isnt quite big enough with our family of 4 plus 7 dogs we rotate who (meaning which dogs) are in the house.. We usually have 2-3 in the house at a time and the others in big fenced in back yard/+indoor kennel... And every 2-3 weeks we rotate bringing in 2 or 3 that were outside.. etc... i wish we had room for all 7 but it would be chaos! So we found this to be the best solution! Our huge back yard that is fenced in and it's is attached to an indoor kennel... The puppies are born and kept in the house with Mom.. and moved to the puppy kennel in the heated garage with a big run outside once they are about 4-5 weeks old/wheened off Mom. And we do the same with the puppies as we do with the adults- rotating who is inside- we bring 1 or 2 in the house and rotate them every week so they each get individual lovins and cuddles and training time in the house apart from their siblings and it seems to work out pretty well for us! We consider our dogs as part of our family, they are so spoiled! They each have a different personality all unique in their own way! Our dogs are all pretty mellow and chill they love cuddling and being couch potatoes!
