About Denise
I am the breeder behind Ramirez Ranch Doodles located in Prescott Valley AZ.
We are a family-run breeding program offering loving, well-rounded, beloved family members.
We focus on health and quality round the clock care.
◇ Genetic health testing ◇
*We test all our parent dogs for over 236 genetic conditions to ensure no puppies are at risk for anything before we proceed to breed them.
*We test for hip and elbow dysplasia
*We test for blindness and deafness
• Health and temperament are the main focus of our program ♡
◇ Start potty training ◇
*We start potty training at 4 weeks old and really increase this from 6-8 weeks
*Most people think puppies are just puppies and cant learn until 8 werks but that is false. Dogs age 7x faster than humans so we start saying "good potty" from birth so they know the words good and potty. At 4 weeks we introduce a blanket and tell them "bad potty" when they go on the blanket. From 6-8 weeks wek increase the blanket and decrease the pee pads so they learn to pee only on the pads and play and cuddle on the blanket. When they go to their furever families they have a solid foundation for whatever potty training method you plan to move forward with. Thrse dogs are EXTREMELY INTELLIGENT and eager to please so with consistency potty training is a breeze.
*We work heavily on "NO BITING" all of our puppies know that toys are for chewing and hads are for cuddle and kisses. A lot of places think awww cute puppy bites but those turn into a bad habit quickly so we don't even allow it to begin.
*Desensitizing *
*We start vacuuming around their play area early on as well as having the tv on and off at all volumes, children in and out all day as well as regular doorbell ringing.
* Grooming
• We trim the puppies nails starting at 3 weeks every week once a week si they know this as normal.
• We trim there bottom and private area before sending them home.
• We use an at home grooming kit called a furme to get them used to being groomed. This is very important because Aussiedoodles have to be groomed every 3-4 months and brushed daily.
• We comb and brush them multiple times a day
• We always bathe the puppies in a flea and tick shampoo and the have been de wormed.
*We work on an emergency puppy call*
- Every time you place down your puppies, food dish or give them a treat, you say the emergency, "puppy puppy puppy" call and then give them their food reward. It takes a good amount of time for your new friend to learn their name, along with sit, come and stay, so we teach them from birth that puppy puppy puppy means that you will get a food treat. In an emergency, they will stop what they were doing and run to you for that food reward.
◇ What puppy goes home with ◇
-A healthy transition is very important to us♡
♡ We send you home with a tote bag that contains-
• A blanket that smells like their mom to place in their crate to calm them and help them sleep.
• A toys that smells like their litter mates thatbi encourage you to hold so they hace something to chew other than your hands
• A starter bag of the dog food we have then on so you can have time to either purchase this same brand or gradually introduce them to the food of your choice.
• A folder complete with everything you with need to know about your new best friend, vet records, health and diet routine, Birth certificate and grooming care instructions.
• Registration forms printed so you can register your new pup.

Raising the Standard: Our In-Home Whelping & Socialization Program
At Ramirez Family Doodles in Prescott Valley, AZ, our puppies are raised entirely inside our home as cherished members of our family from day one. We believe that exceptional temperament, health, and confidence start with a clean, secure, and thoughtfully structured environment.
Phase 1: The Whelping Room (Weeks 0–4)
Pristine, Climate-Controlled Sanctuary: For the first four weeks of life, our mother dogs and newborns reside in our dedicated indoor whelping room.
Complete Bio-Security & Protection: To ensure maximum health and safety, puppies are kept in a strictly controlled indoor environment. They are never exposed to outside elements, public areas, or outside animals, ensuring they remain completely safe during their most vulnerable developmental weeks.
Constant Monitoring & Early Care: This quiet, dedicated space allows us to provide round-the-clock supervision, early neurological stimulation, and individualized care for both mom and babies.
Phase 2: The Living Room Transition (Weeks 4–8)
Household Desensitization: Once puppies reach the four-week mark and are more active, we transition them into our main living room play area. Here, they are gently introduced to the everyday sights and sounds of a busy household—including television audio, normal family chatter, and routine daily activities.
Controlled Canine Interaction: In the living room, puppies are introduced to our other adult household dogs safely through protective glass barriers. This allows them to experience positive, curious canine socialization without any risk of physical exposure or stress before they are fully vaccinated.
Early Socialization & Handling: Handled daily by our family (including our children), our puppies develop incredible confidence, warmth, and adaptability long before they go home to their forever families.
