I am a retired industrial automation salesman. Married to my wife for 48 years. We have had 6 Bernese over the years. A male and female now. About 5 years ago we had a litter of 3. Our son wanted the male and it just so happens that our 3 year old female we thought was no longer in heat. My son made a 15 minute visit with his Berner so we put his male pooch and our two outside and guess what, we had 8 (7M & 1F) puppies. Quite a surprise. Our dogs have AKC papers but were never sent in as our intentions were never to breed. The puppies are all healthy as well as the 2 parents. —————- SEE PUPPY UPDATE —————-

When the pups were younger we had an indoor 100 square foot cage that worked great. Now that the remaining two are bigger they are in there primarily at night. There is a carpeted 30ft by 12 ft deck that the puppies play on when it’s not too hot. We have 5 grandchildren that give them plenty of attention and exercise.
Puppy Updates

ONLY 2 pups remain. They both have had their first 2 sets of puppy shots, wormings and dew claws removed. Mick has beautiful markings. Very affectionate. Janis is sweetie and loves to cuddle.
