Oregon Basset Hounds

Our Basset Hounds are raised on a beautiful fully fenced 3-acre property designed to give our dogs plenty of room to explore, exercise, and play safely every day. The secure fenced acreage allows the dogs to enjoy supervised outdoor time, fresh air, and natural socialization in a peaceful country setting. Inside our home, we have a dedicated laundry room that serves as our clean, quiet, and comfortable whelping area for mothers and newborn puppies. This space is carefully maintained to provide a safe and temperature-controlled environment during pregnancy, delivery, and the puppies’ early development. The whelping area allows us to closely monitor both mom and puppies around the clock while ensuring they receive constant care and attention. Our dogs follow a daily exercise routine that includes supervised outdoor play, leash walks, scent games, and social interaction throughout the property. Basset Hounds benefit from regular activity to maintain a healthy weight and strong muscles, so we encourage moderate exercise balanced with plenty of rest and companionship. Puppies are introduced to different sights, sounds, surfaces, and gentle play activities to help build confidence and support early social development.
