I strive to raise the best that the breed has to offer, and to continue to enhance the reputation of the Australian Shepherd.
It has been stated by many that I raise some of the top finest Aussies in the Pacific Northwest.
There is a very specific rubric for my initiative:
Parent dogs are nominated into the program to reflect only the best features of the breed and it is expected that the offspring will preserve and represent the TRUE AUSSIE. All of my parent dogs are screened for breed-relevant health conditions on the Australian Shepherd panel, an additional 225 genetic markers within the canine species. You can find the test results on their pages so there is NO guesswork for you as a potential puppy owner. I promote STANDARD Australian Shepherds that have stocky and correct structure, full dense coats, and biddable dispositions. *Temperament is KEY.*
I am completely transparent here at Bear Creek and have nothing to hide within my program. I am ALWAYS here to answer ANY questions and address ANY and ALL concerns.

I DO NOT RAISE MINI’S OR TOYS.
Our dogs have 24/7 indoor and outdoor access. Their yards have several shade trees and are completely fenced with iron fencing. They are members of our family, and each dog individually comes inside for one on one family time. We also have a creek next to our property that they frequently go to swim.
