I'm the founder of Big Daniffs, a New Orleans based breeding program dedicated to Italian Daniffs, The Great Dane x Cane Corso mix. I started Big Daniffs because I fell in love wit hate combination of the Great Dane's size and temperament and personality wit the Cane Corso's strength, loyalty and protective nature.
My program is built around my dogs, Saint and Nina, who are my family first. I'm hand-on with each puppy from birthing to this very day. They're raised in a loving environment, no lack of food (science diet only large breed puppy) . They're raised around people, other dogs, and animals - they receive proper handling and love to be held or near.
I want buyers to know exactly where their puppy came from and to feel comfortable staying in connected with me after they go home. My goal isn't simply to sell puppies - its to build a recognizable Italian Daniff Program and place each puppy with a family prepared for the size, strength and commitment that comes with owning one of these dogs.

Whelping area was a conveyed kiddie pool with bedding, whelping pad, heating pad, the works. Once we transitioned from that space - I moved them upstairs so they can be monitored more closely.
Took two dog outside kennels, zip tied them together to create a more than massive area for them to walk on; then added another 5x8 grass rug into the mix.
As they got stronger to knock down the gate I removed the gate and still have the grass rugs. I let them free roam around the house to find their spots. Iāve potty trained them to pads, outside and to whistles and bells.
I made sure not to make them feel like it was food scarcity - I fed them science diet their whole lives - more than enough - access to water as much as they want any time.
Outside: they have a courtyard , big backyard, with another courtyard / driveway - they go under the house and play - I have an elevated area off the ground as well as mats. I spray grass for fleas and bugs regularly and keep it maintained.
