Blue Buckaroo Aussies has been raising Mini Aussies for more than 18 years in Tennessee.
Our breeding program is built around four things that matter most to us:
Health • Structure • Intelligence • Temperament
We raise our puppies on our ranch as part of everyday life, with plenty of handling, exposure, training, and opportunities to learn from the beginning. Our goal is not simply to produce beautiful puppies. We want to raise dogs that are healthy, sound, intelligent, adaptable, and genuinely enjoyable to live with.
Temperament is a major part of how we make breeding decisions and how we help families choose a puppy. We spend a great deal of time getting to know each puppy as an individual—their confidence, energy level, trainability, people orientation, and how they respond to the world around them.
We do not believe every puppy is the right fit for every family.
Instead, we work closely with our families to help match them with a puppy whose personality and needs fit their lifestyle.
Over the years, Blue Buckaroo puppies have joined families across the United States and beyond, but our philosophy has stayed the same: raise each puppy with intention, know our dogs well, and give our families the support and education they need for a successful life together.
We are proud of the dogs we raise, but even more proud of the relationships we have built with the families who love them.

Blue Buckaroo Aussies is located on our ranch in Tennessee, where our dogs and puppies are raised as part of everyday life.
Our puppies grow up with room to explore, play, learn, and experience the sights and sounds of a real working home and ranch environment. From an early age, we focus on thoughtful exposure, handling, confidence building, and the everyday skills that help puppies transition successfully into family life.
We want our puppies to experience more than a kennel or a whelping area. They are given opportunities to interact with people, explore new surfaces and environments, learn routines, and begin developing the confidence and adaptability we value so highly in our dogs.
The ranch gives us the space to raise puppies intentionally while still keeping them closely connected to people and daily life.
It is the place our dogs live, our puppies grow, and where the foundation for their future begins.
