I chose to have australian cattle dogs on my homestead, and I'm glad that I did. They are loyal, smart, and obedient. They have helped to protect our chickens, and are good with the family. They're a blessing!
About Chris' Place
We use indoor and outdoor kennels. Indoors, they stay in a very large kennel with a large bed of cedar shavings, along with their food and water. Outside, the puppies get to run around in the grass and play daily with each other. They get lots of sunshine and fresh air. Their mama likes to join them at her own leisure.
The mama's diet has consisted of quality sardines and pastured hard bolied chicken eggs with the shells. The puppies still nurse once a day, but are being slowly weaned. They started eating soaked puppy food with puppy formula.
The puppies get a lot of good attention from the family.
